Thrombolysis, Thrombectomy, and Antithrombotic Therapy for Acute Ischemic Stroke

Our understanding of the best treatment approach to medium and distal vessel occlusions continues to evolve. Early initiation of antithrombotic therapy after ischemic stroke is of paramount importance to reduce the risk of recurrence.
