Several factors can increase the risk of cancer in an individual. About 50% of cancer cases can be prevented by adopting a healthy lifestyle, regular exercise, eating healthy, and following a modest cancer prevention diet. Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To systematically review and assess associations between CRC treatments, tumor characteristics, and other risk factors with the incidence of SPCs.
  • To quantify the risk of various SPCs in CRC survivors using meta-analysis.

Main Methods:

  • Systematic review of four databases up to October 2025.
  • Meta-analyses using random effects models to pool relative risks (RRs).
  • Inclusion of 36 studies from 10,577 screened articles.
