Summary

Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) phosphorylated tau 181/amyloid beta 42 ratios show a stronger correlation with PET scan results for Alzheimer's disease (AD) diagnosis than cognitive screening tests. Combining CSF biomarkers and cognitive screening improves diagnostic accuracy.
