Marcum-Q correlated optical fields
Abstract:
In this work, we present the construction of a partially coherent field whose spatial correlations are expressed in terms of the Marcum-Q function. In general, the correlations associated with this field do not follow a Schell-model form. However, the far-field correlations follow a Schell model characterized by a jinc-type coherence function. Our analytical results are supported by numerical simulations.
