Facial Trauma Prevention in Adults and Children

Facial trauma is a growing public health concern with substantial physical, psychological, and financial consequences. Injuries arise from multiple causes, including motor vehicle accidents, falls, assaults, and sports, and their impact differs across age, gender, and social groups. Older adults are increasingly affected by fall-related trauma, while women are more likely to experience violence-related injuries.
