None:
Hydrolysable quaternary ammonium analogues (Cn-N-R) are developed, offering potent, broad-spectrum bactericidal efficacy comparable to commercially available cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB). Upon hydrolysis under physiologically relevant conditions, the generated carboxylate shields the residual cationic charge, greatly reducing cytotoxicity and addressing the safety concerns of conventional QACs for applications involving human exposure.

Enhanced Elimination of Poison
Antidotes serve a crucial role in counteracting the effects of poison by inhibiting enzymes responsible for producing harmful drug metabolites. In some cases, these toxic metabolites can be neutralized by endogenous cosubstrates, which are maintained at specific concentrations to prevent interaction with cellular macromolecules and subsequent cell death.
