Abstract:
The analysis of domestic and foreign scientific literature has been carried out in order to substantiate the influence of modern biomaterials on the processes of bone tissue regeneration in peri-implantitis. The search for publications was carried out in the databases PubMed, Scopus, RSCI, Google Scholar by keywords: "periimplantitis", "implantation complications", "biomaterials", "bone regeneration". 180 publications have been studied. After a full-text analysis, 27 works matching the search criteria were selected. Of these, 2 (7%) papers describe the etiology, pathogenesis, and approaches to the treatment and prevention of peri-implantitis, while 25 (93%) describe the properties of various nanobiomaterials for dental implantation.
