Stability of Time-Varying Impulsive Systems With State-Dependent Delay and Its Application in Complex Networks
None:
This study investigates the stability of a set of time-varying impulsive systems incorporating state-dependent delay (SDD). The coexistence of SDD, time-varying parameters, and impulsive effects introduces strong nonlinear coupling between the system trajectory and the delay term, which makes the analysis more challenging than that of constant or time-varying delay systems. In terms of Lyapunov, several sufficient conditions are developed to guarantee the stability of the considered systems. The proposed criteria reveal the interaction mechanism among continuous dynamics, impulsive disturbances, and SDD, thereby characterizing the inherent robustness against impulsive perturbations. Furthermore, the derived results are extended to the synchronization problem of complex networks with impulsive disturbances. Two examples are provided to verify the validity and applicability of the derived results.

BIBO stability of continuous and discrete -time systems
To determine the BIBO stability, the convolution integral is utilized when a bounded continuous-time input is applied to a Linear Time-Invariant (LTI) system.
Stability
The stability of an LTI system is determined by the roots of its characteristic equation, known as poles. A system is stable if it produces a bounded...
Linear time-invariant Systems
The input-output behavior of an LTI system can be fully defined by its response to an impulsive excitation at its input. Once this impulse response is known, the system's reaction to any other input can be calculated...

First Order Systems
When a first-order system is subjected to a unit-step input, its response is characterized by its transfer function. By applying the Laplace transform of the unit-step input to the transfer function, expanding the...
