Postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) can worsen iron deficiency anemia. In iron-deficient women with PPH, ferritin levels remained a reliable indicator of low iron stores, suggesting its continued utility in acute settings.

  • Postoperative ferritin levels were measured and analyzed in the context of PPH.
