Digitalization has transformed medical education via online platforms and tech-enhanced learning, but neglecting accessibility hampers students with disabilities. This scoping review analyzes literature since 2016 on barriers, facilitators, and strategies to improve accessibility for students with disabilities in medical education, focusing on digital learning and assistive technologies. Following the PRISMA-ScR framework, a systematic search was conducted in Web of Science, MEDLINE via PubMed, and Scopus. Findings highlight various barriers and approaches for accessible learning. Accessibility remains inadequate and must be systematically integrated into digital and educational design in medical education.
