Early first-trimester CMV screening in a regional perinatal network: a multicenter descriptive study

Early screening for cytomegalovirus (CMV) in pregnant women identified infections and allowed management. While this regional approach enabled early detection, further studies are needed to assess its clinical effectiveness in preventing congenital CMV transmission.
