Abstract:
Two unusual C19-type diterpene alkaloids compounds 6,14-dicarbonyl-1α,15α,16α,18-tetramethoxy-aconitine-17(7)-ene(1) and 6-carbonyl-8-hydroxy-1α,14β,16α,18-tetramethoxy-aconitine-17(7)-ene(2). Their structures were confirmed through physicochemical analysis and high-resolution mass spectrometry, infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, and other spectroscopic techniques. Compounds 1 and 2 represent the first examples of C19‑type diterpene alkaloids with a double bond between C‑7 and C‑17 discovered from the genus Aconitum. In addition, the ability of these compounds to inhibit NO production in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells was also evaluated, and both compounds showed anti-inflammatory activity.
