The upper limb consists of the arm, forearm, wrist, and hand bones. The humerus is the single bone of the upper arm region. Summary

The deltoid-split approach for proximal humerus fracture fixation shows good functional recovery and minimal complications, comparable to the deltopectoral method. This minimally invasive technique offers effective tuberosity access with less soft tissue disruption.

  • To evaluate the functional outcomes and complications of open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) for proximal humerus fractures using the deltoid-split approach.
