Abstract:
We present a strategy to amplify temperature sensitivity of the 51V NMR chemical shifts via ligand-to-metal charge transfer (LMCT) state design criteria. We demonstrate that this design strategy can boost the temperature dependence of the 51V NMR chemical shift by an order of magnitude.
