Abstract:
Nucleus-specific brain organoids enable precise human brain research, yet refined hindbrain models are rare. Here, we present a guided differentiation protocol for generating human medullary spinal trigeminal nucleus-like organoids (hmSpVOs). We describe steps for constructing spinal trigeminal nucleus (SpV)-thalamus assembloids. Moreover, we outline the assays to characterize functional connections within these assembloids.
