Objectives:
This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (diagnostic). The objectives are as follows: To determine the diagnostic accuracy of next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies, specifically targeted NGS (tNGS) and whole-genome sequencing (WGS), for detecting drug-resistant tuberculosis among people with pulmonary tuberculosis, using phenotypic drug susceptibility testing as the primary reference standard.
