Abstract:
An in situ polymerized Zn-based ZIF-8-composite hydrogel electrolyte is developed for stable aqueous zinc-ion batteries. The PAMCZ electrolyte enables intimate interfacial contact, favorable ion transport and homogeneous Zn deposition, achieving prolonged Zn plating/stripping stability and 81.23% capacity retention after 700 cycles in quasi-solid-state Zn//V2O5 cells.
