Early optical coherence tomography (OCT) measurements of central macular thickness (CMT) after epiretinal membrane surgery can predict visual outcomes. Lower CMT at one month post-surgery indicates a better prognosis for idiopathic macular epiretinal membrane (iERM) patients.
