Abstract:
Herein, we disclose a visible-light-induced, iminyl-radical-triggered deconstructive epoxidation of allylic peroxides that enables facile access to distal cyano-substituted epoxides. The operationally simple and modular strategy allows the transformation of allylic peroxides and cycloketone oxime derivatives into functionalized epoxides with a broad substrate scope and functional-group tolerance.
