Abstract:
In order to enhance the light absorption capacity and promote the interlayer electron transport of CoAl-layered double hydroxides (CoAl-LDHs), a composite material of Zinc tetrakis (4-carboxyphenyl) porphyrin (ZnTCPP) intercalated into CoAl-LDHs interlayer was prepared by the exfoliation and re-stacking method. The optimized composite exhibited excellent performance toward photocatalytic CO2 reduction to CO, with an average CO evolution rate of 57.2 μmol·g-1·h-1, which was 5.84 times and 2.87 times higher than those of pristine CoAl-LDHs (9.8 μmol·g-1·h-1) and ZnTCPP (19.9 μmol·g-1·h-1), respectively. It is found that the intercalated ZnTCPP in CoAl-LDHs could greatly improve the light absorption capacity and promote the interlayer electron transport, resulting in high photocatalytic CO2 reduction performance.

The metal catalyst used can be either heterogeneous or homogeneous. When hydrogenation of an alkene generates a chiral center, a pair of enantiomeric products is expected to form. However, an enantiomeric excess of one of the products can be facilitated using an enantioselective reaction or an...
