Revisiting Face-to-Hand Area Remapping in the Human Primary Somatosensory Cortex after a Cervical Spinal Cord Injury

- Findings challenge the assumption of widespread face-to-hand reorganization in the human S1 cortex following SCI.
- Re-evaluation of existing models of cortical plasticity after SCI is warranted.
