Stress perfusion cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) identifies myocardial ischemia, which independently predicts long-term mortality in patients with reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF). Integrating ischemia and scar imaging improves risk stratification for LV systolic dysfunction.
