PMGD is the first specialized database for plant mitochondrial genomes. Housing 1,829 genomes from 1,307 species across five major plant lineages, it provides standardized high-quality data and built-in tools (BLAST, JBrowse, and phylogenetic analysis). This user-friendly platform will support studies on plant diversity, phylogeny, and genome evolution.
