Abstract:
This study demonstrates that a 3D/2D heterostructure of Cu2O nanocrystals and BiOCl nanoplates results in enhanced photocatalytic CO2 reduction and reduced Cu2O photocorrosion. The composite achieves a photocatalytic activity of 33.6 µmol g-1 h-1, outperforming the individual components, and improves Cu2O stability while generating methanol with 30.9% selectivity.
