Association of fibrinogen γ' with recurrent thrombosis: a nested case-control study

Elevated fibrinogen gamma-prime levels are linked to increased recurrent arterial thrombosis risk. Conversely, higher fibrinogen gamma-prime may decrease recurrent venous thrombosis risk, though this finding was not statistically significant.

Background:

- An inverse, though not statistically significant, association was observed between relative fibrinogen γ' levels and recurrent venous thrombosis risk.
