Abstract:
Habitual patellar dislocation is rare and primarily characterized by superolateral soft-tissue contractures. The surgical approach described focuses on a step-by-step, "à la carte", release of these contractures. The algorithm and technique described here offer a reproducible surgical strategy applicable to both skeletally immature and mature patients.
