SBIRT: Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment in Primary Care

Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) is an evidence-based, scalable public health intervention designed to identify and address alcohol, prescription, and illicit drug use in primary care.
