Abstract:
Achiral polyoxometalate (P5W30) induced by chiral L/D-proline (L/D-Pro) co-assemble with Co2+ ions into chiral helical nanoribbons (CNR) and chiral helical nanowires (CNW). The transfer of chirality to nanostructures and precise control over morphology were achieved, thereby the band structure and charge transfer rate were optimized, where the CNW exhibits higher hydrogen production performance than CNR.
