Systemic Metallosis Mimicking Malignancy on [18F]FDG PET/CT

Systemic metallosis, a rare condition, was diagnosed in a patient with elevated titanium and nickel levels. This diagnosis followed the characterization of a skin lesion and shoulder prosthesis issues using [18F]FDG PET/CT imaging.
