Objective:
The Face-Name Associative Recognition Test (FNART) is a recognition-based measure of associative episodic memory designed to reduce retrieval demands while preserving sensitivity to hippocampal-dependent binding processes. The absence of normative data currently limits its clinical use. This study aimed to establish normative data for a Quebec French version (FNART-Q).
Method:
FNART-Q performance was examined in a large sample of cognitively healthy French-speaking Quebec adults, and percentile-based normative data were developed accounting for demographic influences.
Results:
A demographically stratified normative framework was developed using an overlapping stratification approach, and percentile ranks were derived to support clinical interpretation of individual scores.
Conclusions:
The FNART-Q provides clinically interpretable normative data, supporting its use as a demographically adjusted measure of associative episodic memory.
