Summary

Extracellular volume fraction (ECV) derived from contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) can differentiate between low-grade and high-grade clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). This reproducible biomarker aids in preoperative risk stratification for small ccRCC tumors.
