A molecularly engineered siloxane-derived hybrid interphase for dendrite-free all-solid-state lithium metal batteries
Abstract:
A fluorinated siloxane-derived hybrid interphase featuring molecularly dispersed LiF/LiIn nanodomains in a cross-linked polysiloxane network is constructed on Li metal via co-reduction of a fluorinated alkoxysilane and InCl3. The elastic organic matrix accommodates volume fluctuations, while inorganic components suppress dendrites and enhance Li+ transport, enabling a critical current density of 3.2 mA cm-2 and 78.7% capacity retention after 200 cycles at 0.5C in sulfide all-solid-state full cells.
