The above article, published online on 11 October 2025 in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com), has been retracted by agreement between the journal Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Takafumi Kadono; the Japanese Dermatological Association; and John Wiley & Sons Australia, Ltd.. The journal received concerns from authors of a separate article published in another Wiley journal [1] that this article may have plagiarized results from their own work. The concerns include direct numerical overlap of their core results reported in Table 3, Table 4, and Figure 2 as well as use without permission or attribution of the private individual patient data (IPD) for ritlecitinib that only the authors of the previously published article had access to, due to proprietary agreements. When the authors were asked for their response to the concerns, cooperated fully, acknowledged that they did not have access to the proprietary individual patient data for ritlecitinib, should not have implied that all of their comparative data analysis was performed de novo, and should have provided explicit attribution for data in Table 3, Table 4, and Figure 2. Because the data and analysis was taken without either permission or attribution, and because readers were misled about the analysis reported, the Editor-in-Chief has lost confidence in the article and its conclusions. Therefore, the article must be retracted. Upon being informed of this decision the authors disagreed with the decision to retract and instead suggested issuance of a correction as the appropriate remedy. [1] D. Aceituno, C.G. Fawsitt, G.M.
