The appropriate tension required to maximize healing potential of a rotator cuff repair difficult to define. The recent literature further elucidates the appropriate tension in an animal study, but the solution to the challenging cuff repair where high tension is required to advance the tendon to the rotator cuff footprint remains elusive.
