Abstract:
Size-tunable magnetite micro/nanorobots (MNRs) loaded with doxorubicin (DOX) exhibit targeted locomotion and enable synergistic chemo-magnetothermal therapy for cancer cells. In vitro studies show enhanced cancer cell killing, reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, and mitochondrial disruption, with smaller nanoparticles achieving superior cellular internalization. This promising strategy effectively overcomes limitations of monotherapies.
