Abstract:
This protocol details the application of Granger causality (GC) analysis to primate electrocorticography (ECoG) data to map frequency-specific information transfer. We describe steps for computing pairwise GC and generating spatial GC maps, including differential maps to isolate task-specific activity. We then explain how to perform hierarchical clustering on GC patterns to identify and visualize the spatial distribution of functional electrode clusters, revealing the organization of information flow.
