Abstract:
We leverage adenine-rich single-stranded DNA as both a structural director and a coordination scaffold to synthesize Cu-coordination nanospheres. These nanospheres act as highly selective catechol oxidase mimics, exhibiting no peroxidase-like activity toward TMB or ABTS, thus overcoming the catalytic promiscuity inherent to conventional oxidase nanozymes.
