Abstract:
To suppress polyiodide dissolution and sluggish I-/I2 conversion in Zn-I2 batteries, we design a bifunctional CC/NiFe-LDH@I cathode integrating physical confinement and catalytic interfaces. The cellulose-derived carbon paper confines iodine, while NiFe-LDH nanosheets chemically anchor polyiodides and catalyze the I-/I2 redox. This synergy facilitates surface-pseudocapacitive behavior and local iodine enrichment, enabling outstanding durability.
