Abstract:
Host-guest assemblies of an acridine dye with cucurbit[7]uril and cucurbit[8]uril give distinct NIR emissions at 674 and 708 nm, respectively. Both exhibit efficient two-photon absorption near 925 nm and successfully enable single- and two-photon mitochondrial imaging in live A549 cells.
