[Clinical Characteristics Analysis of Primary Gastric Large B-Cell Lymphoma with IRF4 Rearrangement]

Objective:
To investigate the clinical characteristics and diagnostic approaches for patients with primary gastric large B-cell lymphoma with IRF4 rearrangements (LBCL-IRF4), thereby enhancing understanding of this distinct subtype.
Methods:
A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical presentation, diagnostic and therapeutic course, and prognosis of this single case of primary gastric LBCL-IRF4 treated in our hospital.
Results:
Based on pathological, imaging, and bone marrow examinations, the patient was diagnosed with LBCL-IRF4 (Stage ⅡA, IPI score: 1, low risk; NCCN-IPI score: 2, intermediate-low risk; CNS score: 1, low risk). The patient received four cycles of the R-CDOP regimen (rituximab + cyclophosphamide + vindersine + liposomal doxorubicin + prednisolone tablets) followed by two additional cycles of rituximab consolidation therapy. The patient achieved complete remission.
Conclusion:
LBCL-IRF4 is clinically uncommon, and primary gastric LBCL-IRF4 is even rare. Such patients demonstrate favourable outcomes following standard treatment.
