Abstract:
A dynamic phosphorus-containing chitosan supramolecular network was constructed via hydrogen-bonded assembly. Unexpectedly, water treatment induced reversible network reconstruction, leading to enhanced adhesion rather than degradation. The phosphorus-nitrogen cooperative chemistry further provided intrinsic flame retardancy, offering a new strategy for adaptive sustainable adhesive materials.
