Abstract:
The therapeutic activity of an IFN-γ preparation Ingaron, both alone and in combination with isoniazid, was studied in an experimental model of tuberculosis infection in inbred BALB/c mice. The combination of oral isoniazid and subcutaneous IFN-γ administration demonstrated high efficacy, which was confirmed by microbiological and morphological examination of the lungs and spleens, as well as by the organ weight dynamics.
