Abstract:
The impact of breast cancer and its treatments on musculoskeletal health is a critical aspect of survivorship care. This article highlights common complications such as pain, weakness, reduced mobility, and decreased bone health, which can significantly affect quality of life. The article provides an overview of evidence-based strategies for prevention, assessment, and management of these issues. By addressing musculoskeletal health proactively, clinicians can support improved function and long-term outcomes for patients with breast cancer.
