Abstract:
A 22-year-old woman presented with a 12-cm hypervascular aggressive angiomyxoma. Difficult hemostasis during biopsy prompted preoperative selective arterial embolization followed by complete macroscopic resection with only 50 mL of blood loss. Preoperative embolization may facilitate safe resection of large hypervascular aggressive angiomyxomas.
