Abstract:
Communication is foundational to clinical and leadership excellence. In patient care, listening, empathy, and trust prevent errors. In complex health systems, leaders who move beyond data transmission, toward creating a cohesive narrative, help teams unite around purpose. Drawing on cognitive science and organizational theory, this article positions storytelling as a core leadership tool that connects metrics to lived experience, mobilizes action, and humanizes policy.
