Abstract:
Energy Citizenship refers to individuals and communities participating, sometimes begrudgingly, in adopting energy solutions, whether sustainable or not. When enacted positively, it advances the green energy transition. There are several pathways for citizens to participate in the green energy transition; however, participation should be voluntary and compatible with citizens' life contexts. Energy information is vital in enabling people to get involved in the green energy transition. However, less is known about how the energy information needs of citizens vary with their lifestyle and context. This paper presents energy citizen personas as an artifact for energy citizenship contexts, using the Research in the Wild (RITW) approach. The research incorporates findings from a survey conducted across 16 European countries involving 9414 respondents. The survey responses were analyzed using a clustering algorithm and contextualized into 'energy citizen personas' representing varying circumstances, goals, and energy information needs of energy citizens.

Energy Diagrams - I
Take the example of a skater on a parabolic ramp. The potential energy at different points along the ramp will be proportional to the height of the ramp, which varies quadratically with the horizontal position on the ramp. As the skater moves down the ramp from the highest position,...
Power and Energy
Power, defined as the time rate of expending or absorbing energy, is quantified in units called watts (W). The relation between power and energy is mathematically given as
Energy Diagrams - II
The point in the energy diagram at which the system’s potential energy is the lowest is known as the local minima. The system tends to stay in this position indefinitely unless acted upon by a net force. The slope of the potential energy diagram at the local minima is zero, indicating that zero net force is acting on the system. The slope...
