Abstract:
This article aims to present Witold Lepecki's private archive, currently housed by the Museu de Astronomia e Ciências Afins, in Rio de Janeiro. The text briefly presents Lepecki's trajectory and his contribution to the development of nuclear science and the implementation of the Brazilian nuclear program, in addition to a concise history of the archive. The documentation is divided into three large thematic axes identified during a preliminary survey. It is worth noting that this study constitutes an initial approach to the collection, with the purpose of publicizing its documental richness and stimulating new studies, given its importance to the history of sciences and techniques in Brazil.
