Abstract:
A series of ZnxCd1-xS-MoS2 epitaxial heterostructures were synthesized via cation-exchange and the Zn0.6Cd0.4S-MoS2 heterostructure achieves an exceptional hydrogen evolution rate of 60.88 mmol g-1 h-1 under visible light, which is 2.2 times higher than that of its CdS-MoS2 counterpart. This strategy synergistically integrates bandgap engineering and interface control for superior photocatalytic performance.
