Abstract:
Brain-computer interfaces have shown great potential in the rehabilitation of Cerebral palsy, improving the ability of children with cerebral palsy to perform activities of daily living by replacing and restoring lost neurological functions, as well as accurately evaluating cognitive functions and facilitating rehabilitation in conjunction with various rehabilitation techniques. Nonetheless, numerous challenges persist in the application of brain-computer interfaces for cerebral palsy. Future research should focus on developing enhanced and more dependable brain-computer interfaces, advancing the hardware, and establishing ethical and regulatory frameworks to facilitate their utilisation in cerebral palsy rehabilitation.
