Abstract:
This study explores the ethical tensions experienced by self-employed registered nurses in their daily practice. Based on a focus group conducted within a territorial professional health community, it highlights tensions relating to autonomy, responsibility, administrative constraints, interprofessional coordination and recognition of skills. These issues may affect quality of working life and call for stronger support for multiprofessional practices.
